Well actually PCM Business Improvement is a solely owned Business and is the trading name of me, Peter C. Mendez.


I am dedicated Quality Professional with over 30 years experience in a continuous improvement environment, well versed in Kaizen, 5S, KanBan, JIT and Lean Methods.
A Blackbelt in Six Sigma is testament to my abilities in SPC, DoE, FMEA, QFD, etc.
My knowledge of Quality Systems is complete and I am a qualified Lead Assessor of Quality Systems with an in depth knowledge of ISO 9000:2000 & TS 16949:2002.
I am well versed in all aspects of Management with strong Communication, Motivation,  Man Management, Problem Solving, Teambuilding and Project Management skills.
I have developed and presented Training courses on varied subjects such as: ISO 9001:2000, Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt, FMEA, SPC, 5S, Kaizen and TQM.
My time in Production Management has honed my skills giving me an all round understanding of Best Practice Manufacturing methods. 

More recently the time I have spent as a Management Consultant has given me a broader understanding of other industries such as Textile, Automotive, Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals, Precision Engineering and Furniture, which has improved my Change and Project Management skills.    

I am also an Assistant Director with BNI, BNI is an International Business Referral organisation. As an Assistant Director, I am charged with setting up new BNI groups within the local business community. BNI is an exceptionally successful way to network and has proved extremely successful for all types and sizes of business.



Not as true as you might think. The Big Boys do not employ most of their Consultants as direct employees. In fact they are mostly Sole Traders or Partnerships that are associated to the Consultancy.


Even if you use one of the Big Boys you will most probably end up using the services of a Consultant who is self-employed as a Sole Trader.


The big difference is the COST. The Big Boys have big overheads and administration costs that some body has to pay for. Sole Traders have no such costs to cover so we can pass savings on to our Clients.

The other major difference is in the approach. To one of the major consultancies you are just another client, to us you are an individual and a business partner. We listen to the client and then give them what they NEED, which is not always what they think they wanted.

We will tailor our services to meet your needs, not just burden you with an "off the shelf" package which will earn us the best commission.


This is true, "No man is an island". I do not posses all the Business & Management knowledge that exists, I cannot solve ALL of your problems by myself.

But, I am not by myself, I have access to a network of very experienced and knowledgable Consultants all of whom were Senior Managers, Executives, M.D.s or Owners within a wide range of Industry and Commerce before becoming Consultants.

Also I have access to a multitude of different skills and talents via my membership of BNI. Through BNI I can access all Professions from Lawyers to Labourers, Accountants to Turf Accountants, Builders to Bankers you name it we can do it.
